Why Genesis Christian School
Welcome From the Principal
What a blessing it is to be a part of a Christian school, with the ability to recognize God as central and core to everything in our lives—which includes education. We here at Genesis recognize the biblical mandate for parents to educate their children…to train them up in the way of the Lord (Deuteronomy 11:19). For this reason, Genesis works closely with each child’s parents to understand each student’s individual needs and strengths. Ongoing, open communication between school and home is essential for maximum learning to take place. Genesis Christian School believes in the partnership with parents as they approach instruction, discipline, conflict resolution, and daily life from a biblical perspective, which our nation’s public schools are simply no longer equipped to do.
We desire students to come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and we want our students to grow in relationships with their peers in a positive and caring educational setting. Many relationships exist within the school setting. The relationship between the teacher and each student is critical as they work together daily.
Students must also maintain the right relationships with each other as they work and live together in the community of the classroom. The parent and teacher relationship is very important as parents entrust their prized possession into the care of the teachers who spend countless hours in partnership with parents to teach the students in their care.
All of this is why Genesis Christian School is often referred to as a family. Please come and visit us and see firsthand how our mission of shaping the whole person spiritually, academically, physically, and socially is lived out in our values of Glorify, Grow and Go. We look forward to welcoming you!
Sincerely,
Principal
